Abella de la Conca, is an historical village and at the same time has a weird past, since it was not discovered until the year 1,033. In 1,139 D.Ramon Abella made kind of donation to Sta. Mª de la Seu. here is also documentation of its origins from the 1,110 thanks to the singular architecture of its church, called San Esteve. Abella is located to the bottom of an immense granitic hulk and it is easy accesible by the Road C-13. Abella belongs to the County Council (or Local Court) of Tremp in the region of the Pallars Jussà. |
Abella de la Conca has a municipal land of 77,7 Kms2 of
extension or size
and last census showed there was about 186 inhabitants.
