The village of Rialp, outstands by its dynamism and high level of its economy. It has and extent of 64 km2 and is situated to 725 Kms2 high. Even though in the past there were professions such as tailors, farmers, carpenters, musicians, etc. at the present time its greater source of incomes comes from tourism. |

The proximity with the winter sports resort , Portainé, as well as the bottled waters of El Pallars, the majestic Hotel Comptes del Pallars, and other turistic resorts and sport facilities, turn Rialp into a wonderful place which is obligatory to be visited. Rialp has two outstanding Churches, Ntra. Sra. de Valldeflors and the one of Sant Cosme i Damià in addition to the Church of Surp of lombard Romanesque style. The images and the altarpiece of this Church are distributed between several museums of Catalonia, treated in recovery processes. |
