SARROCA DE BELLERA

Sarroca de Bellera, is situated going up throughout El Pallars Jussà, it belongs to the Tremp Administrative Area, has an extent of 87´26 Kms.2 and last census showed that there’s at the time 147 inhabitants. Sarroca de Bellera joins with other 17 municipalities the so-called Vall del Bossià (valley), where the trout fishnig is very common although the river is not a big one. Even though the increase of tourism, the people here base their economy on cattle ranches, and the agriculture. With remarkable success have made his appearence the adventure sports, thanks to the apropiate geografical situacion, and then also wild boar and wild goat hunting, mushrooms harvesting and a variable vegetation with a completely pure atmosphere; all this makes it worth to be visited. |

Easy to reach coming from the N-260 road, going south from El Pont de Suert (20 Kms) or heading north from La Pobla de Segur (18 Kms). Let’s say, Lleida, Balaguer, Tremp and finally La Pobla de Segur.
