Senterada
is 10 kms away from La Pobla de Segur on the N-260 (Eix Pirenenc) road
to Pont de Suert. It is situated where two rivers meet, the Flamisell
and the Bossià, both well stocked with trout. Senterada is the natural
gateway to the Vall Fosca and is surrounded by numerous pine forests
that produce a wide variety of mushrooms in season. There is a rural
tourism residence in the village that was once a trout farm. Guests can
still catch their own trout and have them cooked in the residence. The
residence only opens at certain times of year.
