The municipality Torre de Capdella is 1.075 Metres above the sea level with an extent of 166 Km2 and at the present time has 691 inhabitants. We get to all the little villages by the N-260 road coming up from La Pobla de Segur. Namely: La Pobla de Segur, Senterada, La Pobleta de Bellveí and so on. All this area has been by far exclusively dedicated to the agriculture and cattle raising, although last times tourism has been progresively increased and due to the future Sky resorts is going to be bigger. This produces a gradual change on the people’s ways of life. Last but not least, this is one of the most beautiful areas with wonderful landscapes in all the occidental Pyrenees.

All across the valley, from the top to the bottom, crosses the river Flamisell, which is a very small river although some time ago had suddenly grown and produced numerous problems to the region.

It is possible there the trout’s fishing, which is very well-known and of great quality and for sure would make happy those that like this sport as well as trout fans .
